The internet business, or the so called electronic business or e-business, can be defined as a usage of different information and communication technologies. It supports all actions in the field of business. An important area of internet business is the electronic commerce.
It is easy to find a company on the Web that deals with online business. Their main task is to generate an exchange of products or services between different customers: businesses, groups or individuals.
Internet Providers
An internet provider, or a so called internet service provider (ISP), can be defined as a business venture that makes the internet-access available. Their task is to provide the clients with the internet by means of some technologies: copper wires, wireless connections as well as fiber optic connections. There are different types of ISPs: the hosting ISPs and the transit ISP. The difference between them is the amount of bandwidth. AOL, for example, is a well known internet provider.
Search Engines
Search engines are tools for searching every kind of information on the internet. The results are usually presented in a short list. Search engines enable the audience to find files, images, webpages or other information by means of this engine.
